Messy Christians & Gift of Tongues and Prophecy

Paul does not forbid speaking in tongues, but in a public meeting does require someone who can interpret for the strengthening of the entire body. Tongues is a gift of the spirit that edifies an individual believer; it expresses prayer and thanksgiving to God, and it may even articulate wordless prayers of the Spirit.
